Most places will be dry this afternoon and evening, but occasional bursts of showery rain will fall.

Munster and Leinster will see good sunshine at times, but the west and north will tend to remain cloudier.

Highest temperatures today will range between 13 and 18 degrees in moderate westerly breezes.

Tonight will be very mild – the lowest temperatures will be between 9 to 11 degrees.

More showery rain, mainly over northern counties, will also fall later tonight.

Tomorrow morning will see outbreaks of rain which will gradually die out and finally clear during the afternoon.

Some good spells of sunshine will occur during the second half of the day, and the highest tempeatures will range between 14 and 19 degrees.

It’ll be a mainly dry weekend and temperatures are expected to rise to 17 or 19 degrees on Saturday afternoon.

Sunday will be mainly dry and bright, with sunny spells and just a few isolated showers. Temperatures will be a little lower than on Saturday but in sunshine should reach well in to the teens, winds will be light to moderate west to northwest, Met Eireann says.
