Gusts of up to 90km/hr are expected on the coast.

Storm-like conditions will return this evening in the west as forecast showers will be heavy and prolonged overnight with a risk of thunder.

Winds are expected to strength further in the west overnight with gales and gusts up to 100km/hr in exposed areas.

The rain will clear eastwards this evening, however, and tonight will bring only light rain showers.

Top temperatures today are expected to reach eight or nine degrees.
