Ireland will be as hot as Rome, Paris and Lisbon as temperatures soar next week
People who are going on foreign holidays this week are out of luck as Ireland is set to be as hot as some European countries.
Today it will be warm again with a few showers but temperatures will reach up to 25 degrees, making Ireland as hot as Italy, France and Portugal.
You’re unlucky if you suffer from hay fever as there’s high levels of pollen in all areas of the country which explains why some of us have an onset cold in the hot temperatures.

The bank holiday Monday will also be warm with sunny spells. While temperatures will reach between 20 to 24 degrees, there will be some thundery showers in the evening.
Every cloud has a silver lining as after a few showers, Tuesday will be dry and warm with high levels of humidity.
On Wednesday, temperatures will reach their peak, with most of the country expected to reach temperatures well into the mid-20s.
There has never been a better time for a ‘staycation’ in Ireland so get out the BBQ’s, the sun cream and the tissues.
