Going to a parade tomorrow? Be sure to wrap up warm, as Met Éireann have said that St Patrick’s Day is set to be dry but cool nationwide, with lowest temperatures of 7C.

Western parts of the country have been enjoying very pleasant weather over the last few days with lots of sunshine, but temperatures will drop tomorrow.

“Tomorrow, we’re looking at it being more cloudy and a bit cooler,” a Met Éireann spokesperson told independent.ie.

“It will be dry, which is the main thing, and winds will be light, so once people are wrapped up well, they’ll have a good time.”

Winds will remain light all day, and while temperatures may reach 11C during the afternoon, they are expected to fall below freezing tomorrow night.
