Three billion green investment bank launched

Government money earmarked for helping develop a green economy and the first to benefit from the fund is a project in the north east of England that will generate energy from waste. During a visit to Rosyth, he toured the Whitlock Energy Collaboration Centre in Rosyth with his UK Government colleagues to see work going on to promote promote growth in the renewables sector.The official launch of the bank took place later at the Heriot-Watt University Conference Centre before an audience of finance and environmental figures.
