Budget reports suggest that it is the rich and low income families of Ireland that have been hardest hit by the government during the recession. However, many would argue that the middle class have been crucified with higher taxes and mortgage debt. Independent.ie reporter Aishling Phelan took to the streets of Dublin city centre to find out how the middle class are coping during recession.
