Shoppers were left horrified as two men engaged in a bone-crunching brawl in front of a gang of children shouting encouragement.

In the shocking video seen by Independent.ie, a young girl yells “come on daddy” as one man begins throwing punches at another outside a Dunnes Stores retail store.

It is understood the footage was taken last week in a carpark in Galway and appears to show a number of children egging on a bare-knuckle brawl between two Travellers.

The video shows the men brawling in front of shocked shoppers in broad daylight.

One man throws punches topless while the other wears a bright green t-shirt.

Each fighter delivers and receives a number of serious blows to the head and body.

The man in the green knocks his opponent to the ground early in the video and tells him to get back up.

During the two-minute clip a child can be heard shouting "Come on daddy!" before later screaming “Are you a bit fat belly?" as one of the men walks away.

Another girl can be heard telling a crying baby to “shush” at the beginning of the video.

Stunned shoppers can be seen looking at the fight from an entrance to the shopping centre and cars also drive by the two men hit one another.

The dramatic footage posted onto YouTube and according to the upload date the brawl took place last week.
