At 22 days old Lila and weighing 119g, which is the equivalent to just under the weight of half a packet of butter, is receiving round the clock care and being hand reared by the Zoo team. Lila will be introduced to fellow meerkat play mates in order to learn all of the traits of her species and so she develops her own set of natural instincts.
