Oldest woman defeats Everest again

Watanabe reached the summit from the Tibetan side on 19 May, at the age of 73 years and 180 days. That day, more than 200 climbers were aiming for the summit on the busier southern route in Nepal. Skydive without a parachute

A stuntman has became the first person to jump out of a helicopter and land without using a parachute - after plunging 2,400ft to earth.Gary Connery, 42, of Henley-on-Thames, used a special "wingsuit" to make the death-defying leap above the fields of Oxfordshire, the first time anyone has successfully jumped from such a height without deploying a parachute.The adrenaline junkie, who has performed stunts in Hollywood films including Indiana Jones, Batman Begins and The Beach, helped develop the suit, which enables him to glide through the air, and jumped out of the helicopter and plummeted at speeds of around 80mph before landing on a specially-made "runway" of around 18,000 cardboard boxes.
