THE replacement ship for the ill-fated RTE's reality TV show 'Cabin Fever' is about to be sold after being abandoned in a UK harbour.
The ?200,000 'Johanna Lucretia' has been lying in Gloucester docks for over a year and will go on the market later this month if its owner cannot be traced.
Yesterday, Ian Jarvis, Regional Manager with British Waterways, took to the Irish airwaves in a last ditch bid to trace the owner of the magnificent 1945 oak-built schooner.
The ship was hired as a replacement after a similar vessel, 'Cabin Fever 1' dramatically sank off Tory Island during the filming of the reality TV show on Friday 13, 2003, just 10 days into shooting.
The TV company have identified the last registered owner but have been unable to contact him.
