Goodbye to the Christmas party
Sunday December 10 2006
Who's to blame for this? The experts say that it's the women's fault. They're less inclined to want to stay out drinking all night, because caring duties for their children are still in their hands.
This may come as a surprise to any of you who've already had your Christmas party and seen your female colleagues dancing on the bar downing shots of sambuca while their male colleagues sit slumped in their chairs muttering incoherently about how they're due a pay rise.
You can be sure it's come as a surprise to Girls Aloud, who never let up on partying hard. It's been revealed that the girls earned Stg£1,234,267 this year for their company Tapeview but have spent 30 grand more than that on partying and shopping.
You can be sure they'll be having a Christmas party. And it's one party where you wouldn't mind being stuck under the mistletoe all night, apart from, obviously, when the ginger one comes along.
