Damn sad with no Saddam

I've been reading what the the liberal/lefty media have been telling us about the mess the Americans have made of Iraq and I've come up with a slogan to sort out the problem: 'Bring Back Saddam'.
From what I hear on RTE, there just wasn't the same chaos and lawlessness under Saddam. The trains probably ran on time as well. And it's not just RTE. I've been reading Lara Marlowe in the Irish Times. On her travels in Iraq, she has found no one with a good word to say about those pesky Americans.
Think about how much better things could be if we could bring back Saddam. Irish politicians like Michael D would be able to go back to Baghdad and tell us how much the people of Iraq didn't want to be liberated. And Saddam, he would be sure to have the electricity back on. OK, so there'd still be all those mass graves and the summary executions. And maybe most of the electricity would be used for shock treatments in the torture chambers. But hey, let's not sweat the small stuff.
