I cannot see what reasonable alternative there was to the introduction of NAMA. I would, of course, also like to see our civil servants, TDs and senior bankers made accountable for their actions and sacked on the spot when they are found to have mismanaged our money and country. But right now sacking someone won't change one thing, except make me, and a whole lot of other people, feel better.
