A BRONZE statue of screen legend Richard Harris has been denounced as a "caricature" and "touristy kitsch" by leading members of the arts community.

There can be no denying that every line and wrinkle on this most familiar face was well-deserved. Richard Harris' was a life hard-lived and featured a veritable kaleidoscope of moods, many of which artist Thomas Delohery has successfully depicted in this exhibition Richard Harris: The Bull McCabe.
