GALWAY -- The N18 Galway/ Ennis road delayed between Oranmore and Ardrahan, with hold-ups of at least 45 minutes in both directions. Diversions in Gort due to flooding on Crowe Street, with hour-long delays on the N17 Galway/Tuam road due to flooding at Two Mile Ditch, Claregalway and Loughgeorge. The N6 is flooded at Ballinasloe, Loughrea and Craughwell. The Galway/Monivea road (R339) is blocked at several spots between Carnmore Cross and Monivea, with most routes around Corofin impassable after the River Corrib burst its banks. The Loughrea/Athenry road (R349) is also impassable.
