I N the summer of 1992, when the Munster hurling championship was far from the thriving democracy it is today, Paul Flynn boldly made his entrance. He scored a wonderful goal in the dying moments of the Munster minor final against Tipperary to secure a replay, his team refusing to bend the knee as the audience had come to expect.
