She is the hottest new prospect on the Irish fashion-design scene. A recent graduate of the Limerick School of Art and Design, Mia pulled off the impressive feat of going from being a fashion student to a retailing designer in just over six months. When Mia graduated, she knew that before long the imperative to pay the rent would force her into a day job. So she decided to use the last of her post-college free time to work on a capsule collection as an exercise to keep her skills up. The collection was promptly snapped up by the prestigious Design Centre in Dublin's Powerscourt Townhouse Centre, where it will hit the rails on February 20.
