The war crimes trial of ex-Bosnian Serb commander General Ratko Mladic has been delayed by a judge in The Hague due to "errors" by prosecutors in disclosing evidence to defence lawyers.Alphons Orie told the UN Yugoslav war crimes tribunal today he was delaying the case due to "significant disclosure errors" by prosecutors who are obliged to share all their evidence with Mladic's defence team.He says judges are still analysing the "scope and full impact" of the error.

Dalglish sacked by Liverpool

Liverpool have terminated the contract of manager Kenny Dalglish, owners Fenway Sports Group and the club have confirmed.The announcement comes just 24 hours after the Scot returned from a meeting with principal owner John Henry and chairman Tom Werner in the United States.Dalglish paid the price for failing to close the gap on the top four with the Reds finishing eighth despite significant investment in playing staff in his 15 months in charge.

A-list glamour opens Cannes
