Tracy Morgan weds long-term love Megan Wollover, one year after tragic car accident

After a difficult 12 months, comedian Tracy Morgan is starting afresh.

The Saturday Night Live alumni wed his long-term girlfriend Megan Wollover (28) in a low-key ceremony in New York.

The 30 Rock actor, who was left fighting for his life after a Walmart tractor slammed into his car in New Jersey last year, regained the ability to walk again last month and said his determination to walk up the aisle motivated his recovery.

The couple exchanged vows in front of family and friends on Sunday night at the event which was covered by People Magazine.

"We have been through so much and our love is stronger for it," Megan told People.

"After almost losing Tracy last year, I am so grateful to finally be married to the love of my life."

"I'm so excited to see what our future holds and feel so blessed to spend the rest of my life with Tracy!"

Morgan previously said: "I don't want to walk my wife down the aisle with a cane or in a wheelchair. So I had to go hard with the therapy … I had to get better. There was no ifs, ands or buts about it."

The car wreck on the New Jersey Turnpike in June of last year killed 62-year-old comedian James McNair, who went by the name Jimmy Mack. Another comedian, Ardley Fuqua, and Jeffrey Millea, who were injured as passengers in the limousine with Morgan.
