Tommy Hilfiger's daughter Ally ties the knot in idyllic tropical island ceremony
Couple exchange vows on white sandy beach as rocker Ronnie Wood serenades guests
Tommy Hilfiger's daughter, author and designer Ally Hilfiger, married her longtime love Steve Hash in a beautiful island ceremony in front of close friends and family this weekend.
The couple celebrated their nuptials on the private Caribbean island of Mustique, an exclusive tropical idyll 100 miles from Barbados, known for its dramatic hilltops and unspoilt beaches.
Exchanging vows on a stretch of white sand backed by the blue waters of the Caribbean, the laid-back pair looked completely relaxed and loved-up, with the bride cutting a unique figure in a dramatic embroidered cape which contrasted beautifully with her raven hair.
On hand to give away his daughter was iconic designer Tommy Hilfiger, who mirrored the bride's pristine look with an off-white suit, open-collared shirt and cream trilby. The proud daddy wore sunglasses to walk his little girl up the 'aisle', adding to the carefree and informal nature of the day.
Tommy and daughter Ally designed the subtle v-neck satin wedding dress together, which was beautifully balanced with a floor-skimming hooded cape featuring striking blue embroidery.
"It's fun," the bride told US Hello Magazine about designer her bridal gown with her father, "He has a really great eye and [knows] what looks good on a woman – and I have a clear vision of what I want, so I think that combining those will make for a beautiful dress."
Groom Steve also looked the part in an off-white linen suit. He later removed the jacket and shirt to display his chest tattoos in some dramatic wedding photos.
Adding to the cool, rock vibe of the event was none other than Ronnie Wood who wasn't just a guest at the big day but is also reported by Brides to having played guitar during the procession.
The couple have been an item since 2011. They became engaged in Paris last year when the romantic groom presented his bride-to-be with a ring he designed himself.
"Nothing like marrying your best friend and soul mate..." the bride said on Instagram just before the big day.
