Rugby stars line out for Peter Stringer and Debbie O'Leary's big day
The Spanish city of Marbella welcomed an influx of Irish rugby stars and models as Peter Stringer married Debbie O'Leary yesterday.
The former Munster scrum-half (37) and his beautiful bride wed at an intimate ceremony in the picturesque Nuestra Senora de la Encarnacion church.
The happy couple, who have been together for six years, were joined at the low-key ceremony by some of Peter's ex-Munster team-mates, including Paul O'Connell and Donncha O'Callaghan. Also there was model Nadia Forde, who bravely made the journey to see best friend Debbie walk down the aisle just days after her mother passed away from cancer.
Peter - who now plays for English club Sale Sharks - looked dapper in a navy suit paired with a pink tie as he posed with his new wife, who wore a strapless sweetheart gown.
Speaking ahead of his nuptials, Peter gushed about his bride to be. "It's all about her, I'll try fade into the background as much as I can," he said.
The couple haven't organised their honeymoon yet but are planning to stay in Spain for a while.
