Former Ireland captain Jamie Heaslip (32) married his long-term girlfriend Sheena O'Buachalla (30) in Dublin yesterday afternoon.
And there was a special guest present on the day to see the happy couple tie the knot - the rugby star brought his beloved bulldog 'Jay-Z' along to take part in the celebrations.
The six-year-old pooch was kitted out in a doggy-size dickie bow to blend in with guests and greeted the crowd as they made their entrance at the Newman University Church on St Stephen's Green in Dublin.
Jamie and Sheena, who have been dating for over five years, exchanged vows at 2pm. The bride wore a traditional white gown with lace long sleeves and a sweetheart neckline. She wore her brunette locks in waves.
Jamie, who arrived early, was dressed in a navy-blue velvet tux jacket, and travelled in a Range Rover, the colour of which matched his formal wear.
The ceremony took place in front of more than 180 family and friends - which included a number of Jamie's Ireland and Leinster teammates, both past and present.
Billionaire businessman Paul Coulson and his wife, Moya, were among the guests, as was Leinster forward Sean Cronin and his wife Claire.
Other guests included: retired Leinster captain Kevin McLaughlin; Johnny Sexton and his wife Laura; Devin Toner and his wife Mary; former IRFU baggage master Patrick 'Rala' O'Reilly; Jamie's business partner Noel Anderson; and agent Damien O'Donohoe.
Cian Healy and brothers Dave and Rob Kearney were also in attendance, along with Rob's girlfriend, model Jess Redden.
Jamie and Sheena walked down the aisle to the Carolan String Quartet and then posed for photographers outside the church before heading to the banquet hall in the King's Inns to carry on the celebrations.
Music at the ceremony included Elbow's One Day Like This and I Will Wait by Mumford and Sons.
Both Jamie and Sheena would be wise, however, to keep Jay Z out of the honeymoon suite, as Jamie once described the dog as "a worse snorer than Cian Healy".
Heaslip, who recently returned from a trip to New York with his other half, quietly proposed to the marketing executive last Christmas.
Sheena is a former model with First Option agency and studied Business and Economics at Trinity College Dublin. She now works as a marketing executive in Dublin.
Meanwhile, it has been a busy off season for the rugby set, with a number of recent weddings.
Former Leinster player Eoin O'Malley tied the knot with other half Lara Nolan in Portugal two weeks ago. The 28-year-old and Lara exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony in Faro.
Ireland's Devin Toner married partner Mary Scott at a ceremony in Meath last month.
The couple, who had been dating for more than eight years, married at Moynalvey Church of the Nativity in Summerhill in front of friends and family.
