Red Rock star Pandora McCormick will get her happy ending after all as the Diary can reveal that the aristocratic actress is walking down the aisle this weekend.
The TV3 star (31) will tie the knot with her long-term fiancé Killian Burke in the grounds of her father's castle in Yorkshire.
One of Britain's wealthiest men, her father is the fifth Marquess of Normanby, Constantine Phipps, and she'll be celebrating her vows in his ancestral home of Mulgrave Castle.
"My dad's from Yorkshire. We wanted to have it in the garden and my dad has a really lovely garden, so we're going to do it outside - if Yorkshire doesn't pour with rain," she told the Diary.
Viewers of the hit soap saw her character left devastated last December after her character's handsome garda husband, James McKay, was brutally murdered shortly after they found out she was pregnant.
But off-screen, Pandora's living a charmed life as the beautiful Kenyan-born star gears up to swap vows with her actor partner Killian.
She's expected to be joined by some of her co-stars from Red Rock, with the crew currently on their summer holidays before filming on series three starts in October.
The big-hearted actress said they've asked their guests not to give them any wedding presents, as she thinks the tradition is better suited to couples who move in after marrying.
Pandora, who plays solicitor Claire Hennessy in the soap, said gifts are an unnecessary expense to impose on their guests.
"I think the premise of getting a gift is when a couple moves in together for the first time and they have a new household and they need things like a kettle, a toaster and an iron," she said.
"Killian and I have been together for four years, so we have everything we need and are very fortunate."
She said that many of her friends have "six weddings this summer" and the cost can really add up.
"They have to get dresses, fly to different places and we are asking people to come to the UK," she said.
"We just want our favourite people there and that is the greatest gift - it really is. You have to keep in mind everyone has about five weddings at this stage of your life - so be kind to your friends."
Killian got down on bended knee during Christmas 2014 and popped the question on a trip to Salzburg.
Her professional life is also flying high, given that the award-winning soap will start shooting its new series this autumn.
Producers are planning to shoot all year long as the show has been such a success.
