Pixie Geldof marries fiancé George Barnett in stunning Spanish ceremony
Celebrity guest list included DJ Nick Grimshaw, One Direction's Harry Styles and bridesmaids Alexa Chung and Daisy Lowe
Daughter of Bob Geldof, Pixie, has officially tied the knot with model and musician George Barnett.
The singer, 26, said 'I do' to her drummer beau George in a stunning ceremony which took place in the picturesque village of Deia on the island of Mallorca in Spain.
Dad Bob was reported to have waited patiently for the bride to arrive at Son Marroig, a historic cliff top mansion boasting panoramic views of the Mediterranean, for nearly two hours before his beautiful daughter appeared in an understated grey coach.
Best friends, models Alexa Chung and Daisy Lowe acted as bridesmaids and wore pretty off-the-shoulder pink floral dresses, while the bride looked striking in a tiered tulle princess style gown with halter bodice and dramatic chapel length veil.
One Direction's Harry Styles was spotted attending the ceremony, as was radio DJ Nick Grimshaw.
Pixie and new husband George have been dating since 2012. Drummer and model George has featured in campaigns for high end designers Yves Saint Laurent, Burberry and Gucci in the past and currently plays for rock group These New Puritans.
Pixie recorded her first solo album last year, telling The Guardian at the time that writing the album has been a sort of therapy for her after the tragic death of her sister Peaches in 2014.
“People put a lot of emphasis on the idea of music as therapy,” she said. "It does help you explain how you’re feeling.
"What it did, though, was give me something to focus on. It was the best thing for me. Not the music itself so much, but the doing something, something that wasn’t sitting in my house staring in the corners.”
