Real Irish Weddings: Paula and Garrett's dotty celebrations

After an office romance blossomed for Paula and Garrett, a polka dot wedding soon followed.
Garrett, from Dublin, met Paula, from Kilkenny when he took a job in the city.
"I remember seeing her for the first time in the office and thinking she was gorgeous!" he says.
After a year of admiring her, Garrett worked up the courage to ask her out and a surprised Paula decided to think on it before giving Garrett the answer he'd hoped for. In 2013 the pair got engaged on the night of Paula's 30th birthday.
"We had a traditional church wedding in Paula's local church in Tullaroan. The church was a no-brainier, Paula has always wanted to get married there. We tried to keep everything as local as we could," says Garrett.
After the ceremony the wedding party enjoyed their reception at the River Court Hotel, which sits on the banks of the river Nore. Paula's love for multi-coloured polka dots took the forefront for the day, with her shoes, the cake and the invitations all adopting the theme.
The dinner tables were named after places the couple have travelled to and they used a map of the world as a seating plan, with luggage tags listing names for each table.
The bride found her dress at Jeutonic bridal shop in Kilkenny where she also got dresses for the bridesmaids, while the groom was dressed from Top Hat Menswear in Kilkenny.
Paula and Garrett travelled to Stolkholm for a mini-moon after the wedding and later took a two-week break for the Rugby World Cup in England.
