Ireland rugby player Tommy O’Donnell has just returned from a luxury honeymoon in Thailand with his gorgeous new bride Elisse O’Grady.
Primary school teacher Elisse looked stunning in an ivory bridal gown as she walked down the aisle at Killarney Cathedral in her hometown.
Strapping 6’1” 16 st 12 lbs Tommy was naturally thrilled to see his new bride in all her splendour and after the ceremony the couple were whisked off to the reception at Dromquinna Manor in Kenmare, Co Kerry.
Dromquinna Manor is run by celebrity hoteliers Francis and John Brennan, made famous by the RTE programme At Your Service.
The brothers already own the Park Hotel in Kenmare but in 2011 John and his wife Gwen acquired the 65 acre waterfront Drumquinna property for an estimated E2m, having once being listed as being worth up to E15m during the height of the Celtic Tiger.
Tommy and Elisse took to swings in the grounds of the manor for photo opportunities and Elisse and her bridesmaids earlier in the day looked radiant in kimono style dressinggowns before getting dolled up for the wedding.
Also enjoying the nuptials were Tommy’s proud parents Tom (a local butcher) and Mary and brothers Geraroid, Ciaran and John.
Tommy (29) hails from Cahir, Co Tipperary, and lives in Limerick with Elisse, who he has been dating for several years but got engaged to last year.
Outside flanker Tommy made his debut for Munster in 2007 before getting called up to play for Ireland in 2013, earning 12 caps for his country and 114 for his province.
He was also part of the historic Munster team that beat Australia 15-6 at Thomand park in November 2010.
He was named Munster player of the year in 2013, but has been plagued by several injuries, which forced him to miss the recent World Cup in England but played in our recent Six Nations campaign.
Tommy is also patron of the Irish Children Arthritis Network.
