Former Rose of Tralee wed her long-term boyfriend in a lavish ceremony.
The Australian pageant queen (31), who won the international title in 2011, has been dating the Dubliner for seven years and the pair walked up the aisle in Co Meath over the Bank Holiday weekend.
The low-key couple, who enjoyed a long-distance relationship several years before settling in Tara's native Australia. And they're clearly still more in love than ever, according to their love story on their wedding website.
"We met in Dublin in 2008, and have been joint at the hip ever since," the couple wrote ahead of their big day at Ballymagarvey Village.
"In 2009, after six months of dating, and a quick rendezvous in St. Tropez, we decided to take on the dreaded long distance relationship. Six years, and three hemisphere-crossings later, we are still loving life together and are truly grateful for the many adventures and incredible moments life has shown us thus far."
Tara previously spoke of the difficulty of a long distance romance, saying in 2011 that she and her other half had to work at making quality time.
"He doesn't really get to see me that often because of my schedule. We talk a lot on the phone though and he's always there to support me, but we don't get to spend a lot of time together at the moment," she said.
