Paying a photographer is part and parcel of your big day, but now you have the option to snap yourself as you walk down the aisle.

Thanks to fashion designer Reem Acra, the bridal selfie stick has become a reality.

Lebanon-born couturier Reem debuted the apparatus at her fall 2016 bridal collection - perfect for prospective bridezillas to capture their most flattering angles.

Models who took to the runway in Reem's signature delicate lace and tulle creations carried the wedding-themed selfie sticks which were adorned in glitter, sequins, ribbon, and bows.

Proving the importance of technology and gadgets, Reem also showcased bridal-inspired headphones with tiaras attached.

Reem isn't the only designer to embrace the selfie during fashion month - Dolce & Gabbana also sent snap happy models down the runway in Milan while Pucci designer Massimo Giorgetti used selfie-sticks as a motif on a dress.
