Abigail Kingston is the 11th woman in her family to wear this 120-year-old wedding dress
It's safe to say her "something old" is sorted.
Abigail Kingston (30) from Pennsylvania will be the 11th woman in her family to wear a 120-year-old wedding dress, tailored only slightly from its original design.
The bride-to-be shared her sweet wedding dress story with local paper Leigh Valley Live and her story has since gone viral.
Her great great grandmother Mary Lowry Warren first wore the dress in 1895 and form then, it's been passed on from generation to generation of bridges in the family.
Abigail's mother Leslie wore it to her wedding in 1977 and has been saving the heirloom for her daughter at their home.
The dress was in need of more than a little TLC so the Kingstons took it to dress designer Deborah Lopresti to restore it to its former glory and modernise it.
"It’s not just the dress that’s been handed down… It’s the love," she said.
“It feels like the Cinderella dress.”
