Michael O'Doherty: So Vogue Williams thinks a woman posing naked on social media is empowering but if a man does it... it's creepy?

Fond as I am of the lovely Vogue Williams, I'm slightly confused about the mixed messages that she's sending out regarding social media etiquette.

Having been on the receiving end of men who regularly send her private pictures of their "old chap" on Snapchat, Vogue has described herself as being "freaked out".

Yet only last week she defended Kim Kardashian's publicity stunt of posing a naked picture of herself on Instagram.

So just to get this right, Vogue.

If a woman poses naked on social media for the whole world to see, it's empowering.

But if a man poses naked, for just one woman to see, it's creepy?

I'm glad that's cleared up.
