So over: Talking oneself up

We get that life as "a creative" - to use the new annoying phrase for people who work in the arts - can be tough, and that being "a hyphen" (model-actress-author-producer, etc) inevitably involves an exhausting level of self-promotion.
But let's draw the line between talking about things that you are actually doing, and talking-up vague, makey-uppy jobs, in an effort to seem busy.
Instead, take a leaf from the book of Transformers actor Jack Reynor and his girlfriend, model Madeline Mulqueen. They are hugely successful, but they manage to be totally quiet and modest about it.
