So Over: Flaunting the Flab
A whiff of Summer has at last arrived and everywhere there are unsightly amounts of pasty jiggly flesh on display.
The notion of 'if you've got it flaunt it' appears to have been amended to 'if you have anything, flaunt it', leading to a lot of ill-advised crop tops, cut-out dresses and shorts that provide less coverage than some knickers we own.
We're not prudes, we agree there are people who look good half naked, like model Jane Lyons. The issue is that a good 70pc of the population seem to be suffering from body dysmorphia and are indulging in styles that should only be worn by the 30pc that actually have got "it". We implore anyone who is suffering from 'overspill' - the phenomenon of flesh pouring forth from under crop tops and out of dresses with revealing cutaways - to please rethink the ensemble.
