Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne split after 33 years of marriage
Ozzy Osbourne has moved out of the home he shared with wife Sharon, as the couple are believed to have ended their 33-year marriage.
The split reportedly did not involve substance abuse.
The pair tied the knot in 1983, and have struggled with the Black Sabbath frontman’s drug and alcohol addiction for many years.
In 1989, he was arrested after attacking and attempting to strangle his wife while intoxicated.
Sharon chose not to press criminal charges and Ozzy subsequently completed three months of drug rehabilitation.
The 67-year-old relapsed into drug and alcohol abuse in 2013, leading to a brief separation.
At the time, he wrote on Facebook: “For the last year and a half I have been drinking and taking drugs. I was in a very dark place and was an a**hole to the people I love most, my family.
“However, I am happy to say that I am now 44 days sober. Just to set the record straight, Sharon and I are not divorcing. I am just trying to be a better person.”
In March, Sharon revealed that Ozzy had slept with two women hired to care for their three children, Aimee, Kelly and Jack.
“We used to have four nannies, because I had three children,” she said on The Talk, a US chat show she co-hosts.
“I caught two of them in bed with Ozzy! At different times. It goes on and on.”
