Tall, dark and handsome? Not entirely -- but Ireland's unlikely sex symbols can still make women (and some men) swoon.

Eamon Ryan

As Kermit the Frog might warble: 'It's not easy being green' -- but this outgoing Green Party TD is easy on the eye, at least.

Despite failing to regain his seat, it seems some lusty electors would like to give the delectable Dubliner more than just a vote.

As the unofficial 'Sexiest Politician in Ireland', red-hot Ryan (47) had his own Facebook tribute page celebrating his "beauty and charm". It remains to be seen who'll take his title in the 31st Dáil.

Diarmuid Gavin

Celeb gardener Diarmuid (46) first came to the attention of horny housewives on BBC show Home Front in 2000.

Poking fun at his popularity among green-fingered grannies, a recycling TV ad campaign saw the huggable horticulturalist exchange gardening innuendo with veteran actress Olivia Nash. But the modest dad-of-one blushes: "My wife Justine laughs at the very idea of me being a sex symbol!"

Breffny Morgan

Before Bieber Fever, there was Breffmania. Although fired by Bill Cullen on The Apprentice in 2009, the Breffmeister (25) won his way into women's hearts with his cheeky grin and, er, let's call it confidence.

Despite having a much-hyped Harvard degree under his belt, he is now signed to The Holman Lee Modelling Agency.
