Husband's birthday comes before catwalk, says Irish supermodel Jude
They are living the high life as one of the most in-demand model couples in the fashion industry, but quality time together is still top priority for Jude and Rob Rea.
The couple, who walked down the aisle in 2012, have been jet-setting all over the world thanks to their busy careers.
The beautiful pair officially left Ireland last year to set up home in New York and both are still racking up air miles by flying from one international shoot to another.
But even though she's got back-to-back jobs over the coming weeks and Rob has a jam-packed schedule of his own, Jude told the Diary that nothing could stop her from getting back to the Big Apple to toast Rob's 30th birthday at the end of the month.
They will blow out his candles together, enjoying some rare time off.
"I get back to New York just in time for it, which is great," the leggy blonde, who appears in the latest Diet Coke TV ad, said.
"The weather in Manhattan has finally getting better too, so soon we will be living on the roof deck."
The beauty, formerly known as Jude Nabney, has been booked for a week-long shoot in Madrid and hopped on an overnight flight yesterday.
"From there I'm going straight on to Hamburg and shooting there next week, so it's all go," she said.
Jude and Rob have become highly sought after, as they often market themselves as a two-for-one deal for clients. They also train together, ensuring they're in tip-top shape around the clock.
With such real, natural chemistry, they team up well in front of the cameras and have been flown to a number of exotic locations to front various clothing campaigns as an item.
They even spent their 'honeymoon' in September 2012 posing for Italian brand Napapijri in London and travelling the continent as brand ambassadors.
"It's like a dream getting to work with your husband and it's such a great job in the first place that to have both us doing it makes it so much better.
"When I have to cancel plans on him because of work he understands too, which is a bonus, because it happens a lot," Jude said.
"I love it when we can work together, and it does really help a lot when you don't have to fake it."
