Cindy Crawford: 'A good marriage is hard work'
Cindy Crawford says all good marriages are hard work.
The model has been with husband Rande Gerber for 15 years, and has two children with him – son Presley Walker, 14, and daughter Kaia Jordan, 12.
According to Cindy, her marriage is not easy but she wouldn’t have it any other way.
"The good [marriages] are work," Cindy, told Entertainment Tonight. "The people that give up too early -- it's like what they're not realizing is that if they just put in that extra work and they get to the other side of that then you have all this history together. We were just talking about how much we both cherish that."
The model goes on to explain that her daughter has already started modeling while their son prefers to surf.
Cindy and Rande make a point of supporting their children in whatever it is they enjoy doing.
"We sit here a lot and watch our son surf," she added.
The 48-year-old has previously commented about how important it is to spend time with your significant other.
Cindy is grateful to have a husband she likes as well as loves, and admits she still finds Randy physically attractive.
“We genuinely really like and respect each other. We have fun together. Life is stressful and parenting is stressful, but we still make time for each other. We treat each other like friends and that’s great…but I still like looking at him, That’s not to be underrated,” she told Haute Living magazine.
Rande echoes her sentiments, saying he knows how lucky he has. According to the nightlife guru, Cindy is as special to him today as she was when they met.
“We’re fortunate. We do what we love and can also set our schedules as we wish. I do have the most beautiful wife in the entire world. I look at her now the same way I did when I first met her. I look at her in the morning and see her lying there and I know how lucky I am.”
