Vanessa Hudgens has never struggled with juggling fame and love.

The actress-and-singer enjoyed a very high-profile relationship with her High School Musical co-star Zac Efron between 2005 and 2010.

She was also linked to 21-year-old Josh Hutcherson and Vanessa insists her celebrity status has never had an impact on her romances.

“My relationships so far have never encountered any problems,” she shrugged to German magazine Joy.

“I’ve never worried about the public spotlight, because I actively try to keep them out of it.”

The 25-year-old is lucky enough to have a good set of family and friends around her, including her Spring Breakers co-stars Selena Gomez and Ashley Benson.

She admits that making time for her loved ones can be tough when she’s always away filming.

“It’s true that it’s a difficult balancing act, because I don’t want to make any compromises regarding my work,” she admitted.

“That’s why they try to visit me as often as possible. That works pretty well.”

Of course appearing on screen and having young fans from her Disney days means that Vanessa has become a role model for many girls.

While she is pleased that she has so many fans, the star would never change to please anyone.

“The fact that so many look up to me is very flattering,” she smiled.

“But I won’t change who I am because of that and continue to act the way I would in normal situations. I do and say what I want and I won’t change that for anyone.”
