FROM Croatia to France and the US to Switzerland news of the birth of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s first baby topped the news agenda.
Front pages of national newspapers splashed on the happy event of a baby boy on their front pages this morning.
While some publications went for more traditional images of the couple, the New York Post went with the “Crown Jewels” headline.
Swiss daily Le Matin led with ‘It’s a boy!”
In a special edition, Germany's Abendzeitung Muenchen went with 'A little prince for Kate & William'.
In South Africa, The Times ran a picture of crowds celebrating the birth outside Buckingham Palace but the royal baby was knocked off the top story slot for a murder story.
Satirical magazine Private Eye went with "Woman has baby", of course.
