Occasionally in life, a style crisis can hit. A cruel trend, like boiler suits, might be dominating the fash-o-sphere, or it may simply be a case of growing older and realising that we are not Forever 21, nor can we continue to shop there. Manley makes grown-up clothes that are edgy and feminine. It is a brand with a very strong identity; there are recurring elements from season to season, but always a new story to tell.

We love designer Emma Manley's passion for fabrics and embellishment, but it is her firm grounding in tailoring that makes her clothes so effortlessly chic. She was also chosen as one of the Conrad Hotel's young designers to watch at their recent Conrad Dublin Designer Showcase, along with Blathnaid McClean and Caroline Matthews.
