Victoria Beckham's upcoming Skype series makes her 'emotional'

Victoria Beckham "gets emotional" when watching her Skype series.

The fashion designer has teamed up with the voice-over-IP service to show how she runs her label. The Skype Collaboration Project launches later this month and the footage has been recorded since Victoria launched her label five years ago.

"I'm always so busy moving on to the next thing and I always want to do better than the previous season. I'm very ambitious and we move at such at a fast pace, so what's great about Skype is actually looking back at our story," Victoria told WWD. "I get emotional actually watching it."

Reaching five years in the industry is a big milestone for the former Spice Girl. She began her label by presenting tiny shows to selected members of the fashion press and is delighted with how things have grown. However, she has hinted she always thought she would make it in the industry.

"I did believe in creative visualisation and I always had high hopes. I believed what I was doing and I think I have a strong point of view. I always hoped. I like to look at the big picture and I like to build things in the right way. I never went into this thinking that it would be a flash in a pan," she said.

This year Victoria has big things planned for her company. She has hired an office space in New York City as she wants to push her line more in America and is also opening her first stand alone store in London, UK.

"It will be the first time that the people will really be able to see the brand through my eyes," she gushed.

It won't be her first foray into a store though as last month a Victoria Beckham pop-up store was created in London department store Selfridges. It's launch coincided with having to sell the pre-fall line in New York, so Victoria got her hands dirty.
