Victoria Beckham to launch new collection featuring earlier sold out designs

Victoria Beckham's new capsule collection offers "reworked" versions of her classic pieces.
With her elegant dresses a staple for many A-list wardrobes, Victoria has responded to demand for some of her earlier pieces with her new Icon line.
The collection will launch next month on her brand new ecommerce site victoriabeckham.com.
“Together with my personal edit of the Spring/Summer 13 collections I wanted to be able to offer an exclusive product on the site that was in keeping with the signature aesthetic that’s very special to me,” she explained to ELLEUK.com.
“I introduced Icon in response to requests for designs from as far back as my first collection from customers, and I wanted to find a way to offer them key dresses from the archive, but in newly reworked colours and fabrics.”
The website offers a sneak peek at the new line, showing a simple T-shirt dress, which reaches the knees and is spiced up thanks to block-colour detailing in bright green.
“I hope these updated styles will become unique, limited edition pieces and am excited to revisit other archive designs as the Icon collection continues to grow,” she smiled.
Victoria's ecommerce site is one of the most eagerly-anticipated launches in the fashion world. She confirmed it was coming in December, explaining it had been in the works for some time. Her Victoria Victoria Beckham line will be available on the site, along with her denim, accessories and eyewear collections. There will also be an increased social media presence and videos showing Victoria working on pieces.
The designer has been keeping busy and on February 16 she will be joining Donatella Versace and Diane von Furstenberg to help judge the International Woolmark Prize.
The style icon believes her trained eye for detail will come in handy.
"I create fashion but am also a wearer of fashion, so I will be looking at the designs with both sets of eyes," she explained to Vogue.co.uk.
