A black, floor-length, Grecian-style gown with a scooped back and silver chain empire line for €350 from Lara.

Who do you think are the best and worst dressed celebrities or style icons?

The best are Eva Green and Ava Gardner and the worst is Jodie Marsh.

What is your favourite label or designer?

Balmain.

Approximately how much would you spend on clothes every month?

Anything between €200 and €400.

What or who influences your style?

Classic and minimalist style, muted colours (never brights) comfort and I like a slightly tomboyish look.

What was the last fashion item you bought?

A nude and grey print scarf for €19 from Vero Moda.

What was your worst fashion mistake?

A faux fur cape from Oasis that was a bad shape and I've never worn it.

Name one thing you love and one thing you hate in fashion.

I love old-school Hollywood icons such as Audrey Hepburn, Ava Gardner and Katharine Hepburn and I hate when high heels hurt; I always have flip-flops or sandals on standby in my bag.

What is the most expensive fashion item you have ever bought?

A bottle-green, embossed polka-dot silk, knee-length dress by Hermès for £300 from the same Red Cross charity shop in London. It has shoulder pads, a gold brooch on a V-neck, fitted top and full skirt.



Who do you think are the best and worst dressed celebrities or style icons?

The best are Alexa Chung and Daphne Guinness and the worst are Katie Price and Katy Perry.



What is your favourite label or designer?

Halston Heritage and Acne.



Approximately how much would you spend on clothes every month?

Between about €150 and €200.



What or who influences your style?

Music, shapes that suit me, comfort and I like to contrast casual with dressy; for instance dressing down a great piece of clothing with casual shoes.

Black, high-waisted shorts with zips at the side from American Apparel.



What was your worst fashion mistake?

Brown, faux-fur lined ankle boots with straps. They weren't a good shape and looked a bit like a builder boot.

I love clashing prints and patterns and I hate asymmetric cuts.

A black jersey, floor-length dress with a plunge back, lime-green lining and slits on both sides for €570 in Debenhams.

The best is Leighton Meester and the worst is Lady Gaga.

Juicy Couture minus the velure.

About €500.



What or who influences your style?

Fit, colour blocking and shades that suit my complexion, the price and the occasion.

A large, leopard-print satchel for €65 from River Island.



What was your worst fashion mistake?

My Confirmation outfit which was a black blanket tweed skirt with giant silver buttons with a black and petrol-blue check jacket.



Name one thing you love and one thing you hate in fashion.

I love Balmain from its nipped waists and shoulder pads to the embellished tailoring and I hate Ugg boots, especially the fake ones when they get worn-in and people end up walking on the sides of them.

A black Chanel 2.55 bag for €1,000 from Brown Thomas a few years ago.

The best is Julia Restoin Roitfeld.

There are so many but if I had to pick a few, I do love Balenciaga, Helmut Lang and Dolce & Gabbana.

It totally depends on the time of year.

My job, Harper's Bazaar, Grazia, Style.com, The Sartorialist, celebrities and pieces that have a wow factor.

A pair of black crepe harem trousers with a cummerbund by Balenciaga from Brown Thomas.



What was your worst fashion mistake?

Ski-pants.



Name one thing you love and one thing you hate in fashion.

I love getting my head around all the new trends each season, particularly at this time of year, and also how amazing a fabulous outfit can make someone feel, which is the best part of my job.

I hate that I always want more and am never satisfied!
