A dark tan, thick leather, utilitarian-style satchel for £460 from the Ally Capellino shop.



  • Best and worst dressed style icons?

The best are Coco Chanel or Audrey Hepburn and the worst is Lady Gaga.

Phoebe Philo.



  • Monthly spend on clothes?

Not a lot; between about €50 and €100.



  • Last fashion buy?

A black, thin cotton T-shirt with a satin trim, deep V neckline from Gap.



  • Biggest fashion mistake?

Stonewashed, denim dungarees ... two mistakes in one garment!



  • What do you love and hate in fashion?

I love French, feminine chic and I hate when people follow fickle trends and when fashion becomes too contrived.
