What is your favourite shop? Brown Thomas and also all the markets in Bangkok.

What was your best bargain buy? An emerald-green, floorlength, Grecian-style draped gown by Amanda Wakeley reduced from €2,000 to €350 in Brown Thomas.

What is the most expensive fashion item you have ever bought? The same Amanda Wakeley dress.

Who do you think are the best and worst dressed celebrities or style icons? The best are Olivia Palermo (even though she wrecks my head) and Róisín Murphy and the worst are the Xposé girls.

What is your favourite label or designer? Erdem.

Approximately how much would you spend on clothes every month? Between €100 and €150.

What or who influences your style? My mood, the weather, what I’m doing that day and I love vintage, any era from the 20s to the 70s.

What was the last fashion item you bought? A beige trench cape for €49 in H&M.

What was your worst fashion mistake? My tomboy days. I like what I wore: braces, Fred Perry and Ben Sherman but I had cropped hair so was constantly mistaken for a boy.

What is one thing you love and one thing you hate in fashion? I love statement jewellery and I hate nasty footwear like Fit-Flops and MBTs

What is your favourite shop? The Bernard Shaw car-boot sale and Asos.com.

What was your best bargain buy? A coffee-coloured hooded cape with chocolate leather trim reduced from €200 to €20 in Zara.

What is the most expensive fashion item you have ever bought? A grey McQueen scarf with a fuchsia pink skull print for €290 from Brown Thomas … it was a lot for a scarf.

Who do you think are the best and worst dressed celebrities or style icons? The best are Rachel Bilson and Olivia Palermo and the worst are Katie Price and Cheryl Cole because they are too puttogether.

What is your favourite label or designer? Chloe.

How much would you spend on clothes a month? Between €300 and €400.

What or who influences your style? People on the street, blogs such as The Sartorialist, magazines like Vogue, Grazia, Marie Claire and Vanity Fair as well as magazine websites, especially French Vogue.

What was the last fashion item you bought? This cardigan.

What was your worst fashion mistake? Leg-warmers with ra-ra skirts to all the teen discos when I was about 14.

What is one thing you love and one thing you hate in fashion? I love desert boots and slim cargo pants and I'm sick of the body-con trend because it's been done to death.

What was your best bargain buy? A deep brown, old school, vintage satchel for £20 from a shop in Belfast that I can’t remember the name of.

What is the most expensive fashion item you have ever bought? A cream leather biker jacket for €320 from Superdry.

Who do you think are the best and worst dressed celebrities or style icons? The best is Will.i.am most of the time and the worst is Will.i.am some of the time.

What is your favourite label or designer? Counter Propaganda and Fergal Swan.

Approximately how much would you spend on clothes every month? Between €400 and €500.

What or who influences your style? Not trends, I like bright colours and things that don’t necessarily go together; a mish-mash of styles.

What was the last fashion item you bought? These pants.

What was your worst fashion mistake? Camouflage combat trousers too late when they no longer looked good.

What is one thing you love and one thing you hate in fashion? I love boots, all shapes and sizes and I hate the hooded shirts in Topman with the oversize lumberjack print that everyone’s wearing at the moment.

What was your best bargain buy? A Marilyn Monroestyle, three-quarter length, cream chiffon dress with a halter neck, cinched waist and full skirt by Coast for €90 from Frock Exchange swap shop in Skerries.

What is the most expensive fashion item you have ever bought? This bag.

Who do you think are the best and worst dressed celebrities or style icons? The best is Alexa Chung and the worst are Jordan and Ronaldo.

What is your favourite label or designer? Chloe.

What or who influences your style? Kate Moss, Sienna Miller, classic black mixed with other pieces and I buy Vogue every month.

What was the last fashion item you bought? A faded denim shirt-dress by Selected Femme for €54 from BT2.

What was your worst fashion mistake? A purple tutu from Topshop that was a bad fit and I’ve never worn it.

What is one thing you love and one thing you hate in fashion? I love the military look and I hate Juicy Couture tracksuits.
