AGE: 18

PROFESSION: Student

What is your favourite shop? The Camden area in London and Topshop.

What was your best bargain buy? A white, slash-neck, 'Bride of Frankenstein' T-shirt for £5 from Camden Lock in London.

What is the most expensive fashion item you have ever bought? A black velvet pirate coat for €150 in River Island.

Who do you think are the best and worst dressed celebrities or style icons? The best is Daisy Lowe and the worst are Katie Price and all the people on Xposé.

What is your favourite label or designer? Marc Jacobs.

Approximately how much would you spend on clothes every month? About €20.

What or who influences your style? Music, particularly 1960s and 1970s rock, and old films. I love Audrey Hepburn’s look in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, especially during the fire escape scene.

What was the last fashion item you bought? A green, embellished, military-style dress for €13 in Penneys.

What was your worst fashion mistake? Oversized T-shirts with bands on them.

What is one thing you love and one thing you hate in fashion? I love really well-tailored clothes and I hate jeggings with short tops.

What is your favourite shop? Topman and American Apparel.

What was your best bargain buy? A plain white vest for €25 from Topman because it’s a great shape.

What is the most expensive fashion item you have ever bought? A black, slim-fit, full-length tailored coat with side pockets for €290 from Zara.

Who do you think are the best and worst dressed celebrities or style icons? The best is Lenny Kravitz and the worst is Lady Gaga.

What is your favourite label or designer? Armani and Gucci.

Approximately how much would you spend on clothes every month? About €250.

What or who influences your style? I like slim-fitting clothes. Also bright colours, my job and high-street shopping.

What was the last fashion item you bought? A purplish-red T-shirt with a really deep Vneck from Topman.

What was your worst fashion mistake? Pinstripe trousers with a check shirt years ago, they just didn’t work.

What is one thing you love and one thing you hate in fashion? I love skinny jeans and I hate oversizing, especially in T-shirts and everyone is doing them lately.

What is your favourite shop? Emporio Armani on Milan’s Via Montenapoleone.

What was your best bargain buy? A black, slim-cut suit with a fine blue pinstripe reduced from €1,000 to €500 from Hugo Boss.

What is the most expensive fashion item you have ever bought? A black leather and fabric bag by Armani for €700. It’s more structured in shape than this one.

Who do you think are the bestand worst-dressed celebrities or style icons? The best is Emily Blunt and the worst is Amy Winehouse.

What is your favourite label or designer? Armani.

Approximately how much would you spend on clothes every month? Between about €200 and €300.

What or who influences your style? I like to go directly to stores such as Armani, Versace, Hugo Boss or Dolce & Gabbana where I know I’ll find something that I like. I don’t spend a lot of time browsing or sale shopping. I especially like suiting and a good cut that works well for my shape. I also tend to go for muted shades.

What was the last fashion item you bought? A Giorgio Armani Samsung phone from The Armani store in Milan.

What was your worst fashion mistake? A Mohawk hair cut because it didn’t suit my face.

What is one thing you love and one thing you hate in fashion? I love tailored jackets and I hate when a woman’s style is not natural or elegant, like Lady Gaga in the McQueen armadillo shoes. It’s great for her publicity but I prefer more subtle detailing.

What is the most expensive fashion item you have ever bought? A short, leopardprint chiffon, oneshoulder dress with a frill detail across the neckline for €68 in Topshop.

Who do you think are the best and worst dressed celebrities or style icons? The best are Sienna Miller, Alexa Chung and Whitney Port from The City and the worst is Jodie Marsh.

What is your favourite label or designer? Topshop and Balmain.

What or who influences your style? Celebrities, magazines such as Look, TV programmes like The City and America’s Next Top Model and store websites such as River Island’s.

What was the last fashion item you bought? A gold necklace with dangling leaf motifs reduced to €1 in Topshop.

What was your worst fashion mistake? A short, coral orange, body-con dress because the colour was awful.

What is one thing you love and one thing you hate in fashion? I love platforms with unusual detailing and I hate when people wear trainers with skirts
