? What is the most expensive fashion item you have ever bought? A plain black, knee-length, double-breasted coat for €100 in awear.

? Who do you think are the best and worst dressed celebrities or style icons? The best is Coco Chanel and the worst is Glenda Gilson.

? What is your favourite label or designer? Chanel.

? Approximately how much would you spend on clothes every month? About €150.

? What or who influences your style? My mother, magazines such as Vogue and Dazed & Confused, street style and old movies like The Apartment.

? What was the last fashion item you bought? A petrol-blue, hooded, kneelength cape for €15 in awear.

? What was your worst fashion mistake? Hipster flared jeans with rips in the knees and coloured tights underneath and also cut-off tights worn as armlets.

? Name one thing you love and one thing you hate in fashion. I love the new emphasis at fashion shows on what the editors and guests are wearing. It’s often more interesting than the show itself. I hate pyjamas worn as daywear and also people being too judgmental.

? What was your best bargain buy? A pair of blue suede, high-heeled, slouchy boots by Bertie reduced from €150 to €20 in Brown Thomas. I liked them so much that I bought them two years in a row.

? What is the most expensive fashion item you have ever bought? A cream lace, ribboned corset for €400 from the old Lipsy about six years ago. It's still a great piece and fits into the whole underwear-as-outerwear look at the moment.

? Who do you think are the best and worst dressed celebrities or style icons? The best is Olivia Palermo from The Hills and the worst are Jordan and Victoria Beckham. ? What is your favourite label or designer? Alexander McQueen.

? What or who influences your style? Magazines such as Italian Vogue, Dazed & Confused and i-D and fashion blogs like Fashion156, Dazed Digital and Tommy Ton.

? What is your favourite shop? Buffalo Exchange in Austin, Texas. It's a buy-and-sell shop.

? What was your best bargain buy? A blue, white and silver, fully beaded evening dress with tassles on the shoulders for £5 on Ebay.

? What is the most expensive fashion item you have ever bought? A black dress with a sequin bodice and taffeta ballet skirt by See by Chloe for €200 from Shopbop.com that I got for the Trinity Ball.

? Who do you think are the best and worst dressed celebrities or style icons? The best are Chloe Sevigny, Zooey Deschanel and Cheryl Cole with her enormous hair and the worst are Jordan and Kate Moss because her style is tedious.

? What is your favourite label or designer? See by Chloe and Miu Miu, especially for shoes.

? Approximately how much would you spend on clothes every month? About £20.

? What or who influences your style? The weather, my friends, people I see on the street, classic style, and it's organic; often one piece of clothing will inspire another.

? What was the last fashion item you bought? A couple of dresses and T-shirts at an American Apparel rummage sale in London.

? What was your worst fashion mistake? My Emo phase.

? Name one thing you love and one thing you hate in fashion. I love that old-fashioned, structured tailoring is back and I hate leggings worn as trousers with nothing over them and saggy knees.
