An ‘80s, navy cotton jumpsuit with shoulder pads for €25 from Wild Child.

What is the most expensive fashion item you have ever bought?

A pair of black, bug-eye sunglasses by Miu Miu for €250 from Brown Thomas that I later lost.

Who do you think are the best and worst dressed celebrities or style icons?

The best are Alice Dellal and Chloe Sevigny and the worst are Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.

What is your favourite label or designer?

Chloe.

Approximately how much would you spend on clothes every month?

About €200.

What or who influences your style?

My friends, cool people on the street and blogs such as The Sartorialist and Dublin Streets.

What was the last fashion item you bought?

A cream silk shirt with ruffles and puffed shoulders from the vintage section in Urban Outfitters.

What was your worst fashion mistake?

My Uggs phase.

Name one thing you love and one thing you hate in fashion.

I love shoulder pads and I hate skinny jeans with hoodies because it’s so boring. We need to see more personality!

This T-shirt.

The best are Kelly Osborne and Nicole Richie and the worst is Amy Winehouse.

What is your favourite label or designer?

Chanel.

What or who influences your style?

I like worn and oldlooking clothes and neutral colours such as beige and brown and I don’t like prints, especially florals.

What was the last fashion item you bought?

A baby blue, polka-dot, knee-length tea dress with a lace trim at the collar from Urban Outfitters.

What was your worst fashion mistake?

A floral playsuit. I hated the bright print and I don’t like playsuits.

Name one thing you love and one thing you hate in fashion.

I love shirts, especially men’s ones and I hate leopard print and neon colours.

The best are Alexa Chung and Kate Moss and the worst are Katie Price and the WAGs.

Prada.

I like keeping it simple. I'm not too trend-lead.

This jacket.

What was your worst fashion mistake?

A gold trench from LK Bennett that I bought on sale reduced from €600 to €100 but it was more Liberace than vintage.

I love '40s tea dresses and I hate Juicy Couture tracksuits.

A giant, baggy, multicoloured harlequin-print coat in parachute silk with a zip-up the front for $7 from a thrift store in Astoria in Queens.

What is the most expensive fashion item you have ever bought?

A pair of futuristic, chunky silver mules by United Nude reduced from €220 to €60 on eBay.

Who do you think are the best and worst dressed celebrities or style icons?

The best is Grace Jones and I wouldn’t be a personal fan of conservative dressing so I guess someone such as Margaret Thatcher or Jennifer Aniston.

What is your favourite label or designer?

Jean-Charles de Castelbajac.

About €50.

Things that are colourful, futuristic, cute as well as sci-fi movies, Manga and Grace Kelly.

What was the last fashion item you bought?

A ‘40s-style, silver pencil dress with big futuristic shoulders reduced to €15 in River Island.

What was your worst fashion mistake?

I embrace mistakes.

What is one thing you love and one thing you hate in fashion?

I love Lady Gaga’s sense of style and I hate really tight leggings with no skirt worn over them.
