A pair of black Gucci sunglasses with wooden detailing on the arms reduced to €240 with 20pc off from Nolke Opticians.

What is the most expensive fashion item you have ever bought?

A black, wool, jersey two-piece by Plein Sud with a halter-neck top and bias-cut skirt for €900 from Satina.

Who do you think are the best and worst-dressed celebrities?

The best is Alexa Chung and the worst is Fearne Cotton.

What is your favourite label or designer?

Alexander McQueen and Chanel.

Approximately how much would you spend on clothes every month?

About €800.

What or who influences your style?

My mum, magazines like Grazia, and I like fitted shapes.

What was the last fashion item you bought?

A black-and-pink, floral-print cotton dress from Topshop that I wear with biker boots.

What was your worst fashion mistake?

A pair of tight, red, high-waisted, flared trousers from Morgan when I was younger. I loved them so much at the time that I got a pair in pink too!

Name one thing you love and one thing you hate in fashion.

I love the nude colours at the moment and I hate the sportswear trend, especially tracksuit pants with heels.

Trying to do 'jeggings'.

A mushroom leather satchel by Miu Miu for €1,000 from Brown Thomas.

The best is Alexa Chung and worst is Cheryl Cole.

Paul & Joe.

Less and less these days ... about €50.

Street style blogs like The Sartorialist, Face Hunter, Dublin Streets and The Cherry Blossom Girl.

Getting my hair cut into a pudding-bowl style.

I love boy-meets-girl style like understated brogues and I'm starting to hate bodycon dresses.

A black, silk chiffon, prom-style dress by Alberta Ferretti for €10 at a sample sale of her show pieces in Milan.

What is the most expensive fashion item you have ever bought?

Apart from this jacket, a pair of black suede, patent and leather, military style, knee-high boots by Fendi with brass buckles and a stack heel for €750 from Fitzpatricks.

Who do you think are the best and worst- dressed celebrities?

The best is Marion Cotillard and the worst is Geri Halliwell.

What is your favourite label or designer?

Chanel.

Now, only about €100.

All the PR people I meet and going to Fashion Week.

What was the last fashion item you bought?

A pair of studded tan wedges from Aldo.

What was your worst fashion mistake?

A purple velvet dress for my debs that was like a box of Cadbury's chocolates!

Name one thing you love and one thing you hate in fashion.

I would love a Pucci dress for my upcoming wedding, it's from the spring/summer collection but costs €4,500 so not sure if that's going to happen and I hate clogs, I'll never go there.
