THEY are known as ‘Hot Guys’ but were surely anything but standing outside on a day like this.

A gang of 50 male models went topless on the streets of Dublin this morning to promote the opening of the first Abercrombie & Fitch clothing store in Ireland.

The store, which is on College Green in the city centre, is due to open on 1 November but has already been in the headlines after getting into bother over a giant ‘naked torso boy’ poster that hung on the protected building.

Now the shirtless, six-pack squad have flown in to do one week of advance promotion on the streets of the capital.

Abercrombie & Fitch have handpicked the 'Hot Guy' sales assistants, who will strut their stuff, stripped down to just their jeans to do meet-and-greets with potential Irish customers – starting this morning.

The flying column of hunks is not a new concept for the American brand. A&F flew this shirtless squad to Paris to promote the opening of their store on the Champs Elysees in May 2011.

Temperatures are set to plummet further over the weekend but A&F bosses are confident about the promotion of the store, which is their 16th international location.

And chances are there will be some willing volunteers to help warm them up if asked.
