Swap till you drop is a major fashion event in aid of the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association. If you fancy some new additions to your wardrobe, are too broke to crack out the credit card or just guilt ridden at your bursting but empty wardrobe then this could be one for you.

It’s not your bog standard swapping event either, if you’re a girl who knows what she wants you can enjoy “Speed Swapping” - just like speed dating but potentially far more rewarding! There will be a schedule of Speed Swapping by size so that the serious swapper can really focus on the task in hand.

There’ll also be a “Star Swap Shop” where you nominate your most treasured possessions to appear on the catwalk and be part of an fashion auction. If you’re still not satisfied you can a take a stroll through the “Tunnel of Luck” where a team of Fashion Fairy God Mothers will wave their wand over you, dispensing a host of accessories, up-styles, make-up and, if luck is on your side, brand new designer items!

Swap Till You Drop will be on in The Workman’s Club, Wellington Quay (beside the Clarence Hotel), Dublin 2 on Sunday November 7th, 2010. Doors open to register items for STAR SWAP SHOW at 1.30pm. Swapping starts 3pm and tickets are €15. Advance Booking: www.ticketmaster.ie
